Mail Call, Finally!

This picture is from the other day when we received the 28,000 lbs of mail! Since we are at the end of the supply line we had a stockpile of stuff waiting for us … 653 pallets of mail, food, supplies, and other items of goodness. Finally the ship's store was restocked with things other than redhots and slim jims J . Na, it wasn't really that bad. Notice that all of the aircraft are parked up on the bow or "forward bone" of the flight deck, this is because we needed to make room for the huge amount of stuff that we transferred by helicopter. The water is pretty blue eh? It's warm over here. The funny thing is, because of the heat, when I think of home I picture it being summertime. But from what I hear it's more like 30 degrees.

We all wait for updates!! It's great to know the supplies and mail came in. Your mom is right, we are so proud of all of you for taking on the mission. Snow yesterday, just a couple inches; currently 27 degrees on the patio and windy. Def not summertime in Jerz but warmer temps are on the way! Alisa has her favorite puppy keeping her company and we've got a ticket for her to come home after soccer on the 24th. Wedding stuff Ya Know!! We miss you and look forward to a great homecoming. We love you. Denise and Dana
